Brisbane house renovation on a split level block
Vati Projects recently completed a Brisbane house renovation on a split level block in Nathan, QLD. The house renovation transformed this 1975 approx house into a modern executive family-friendly retreat with all the bell’s and whistles. Being a multi split level block (ie- 3 or more levels on the land), Vati Projects custom designed and renovated this house and yard to capitalise on the breathtaking natural views and feel of the surrounding state forest. Vati Projects replaced, repaired and installed retaining walls to enable the 
home to be more user friendly, also creating 7 specific outdoor living & seating areas including the patio dining, patio living, patio tropical tea setting, pool recreational area, large grassed play recreational area, and secluded toddler-friendly front yard area, along with a master bedroom private balcony.
The house exterior was modernised to blend the traditional weatherboards with modern matrix panels, and the bricks were replaced with blockwork and rendered. The internal design of the house boasts (real) timber finishes including kwilla stairs, hardwood polished timber floorboards upstairs, and custom designed and made (real) timber study with fixed shelving and a living room entertainment piece boasting 2 pac doors and drawers. Downstairs features rectified edge porcelain tiles, shadow line ceilings, custom blinds and furnishings, and multitudes of hidden push-door storage rooms blended to appear like the walls. This house was converted into a 4 bedroom, executive WIR (sized as big as a master bedroom it doubled as a nursery room), 3 bathrooms, full sized office and one of the biggest professional kitchens we’ve ever seen! The kitchen was too big that it was impossible to capture it all in one photo.
